Häromdagen hittade jag info om ett ställe i Sharjah där de har alla de arabiska djuren och där hela djurparken är inomhus (för oss människor).

Eftersom det är hett ute så var det ju perfekt! En biltripp 40 minuter härifrån och en rolig sommarlovsaktivitet.
Kollade och kikade på alla möjliga ställen, nätet, hemsida och fb, och fick överallt info om att stället var öppet så vi packade en kylväska med vatten, dricka, några pannkakor, frukt och snacks och åkte.
När vi kom dit så sade vakten vid bommen att stället var stängt….. 🤔
Vi körde över och ställde oss på en oanvänd vägsnutt i öknen och körde fika i bilen. Motor och AC på en stund. Avstängt en stund. Motor och AC på. Avstängt en stund. 46 grader varmt ute. Varmare inne i bilen när AC:n varit avstängd en liten stund 🙂
Jaha. Vad hittar vi på då? Googlade Sharjah för att se vad annat vi kunde hitta på och någon gång (när inte killarna är med) får jag ta mig till The Blue Souq.

Why see it? This shopping mall is Sharjah’s most photographed building, according to local statistics: reason enough to find out why this stunning piece of architecture is so popular. We’d recommend a visit to see what’s housed inside.
The details: The souk consists of six spectacular buildings embellished in blue tiling, with more than 600 shops inside. Easily accessible, it’s located next to the pretty Khalid lagoon on the corniche. The Central Market, as the Blue Souk is otherwise known, is separated into two different sections connected through a tunnel; in one you’ll find a wide selection of electrical goods and modern necessities, such as kitchen utensils and the like, while the other trades traditional jewellery and gems sourced from the UAE. There’s also an interesting gallery full of Sharjah’s antique artefacts, including intricately designed Arabic carpets and Omani and Yemeni antique jewellery.
